Tor Nicklaus
Tor has been a manager at Carousel for over 9 years and has 18 years of automotive industry experience. Tor received his bachelors degree from the University of Iowa and his Masters in Accounting from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, IA. Tor and his wife, Laura, reside in Iowa City with their 2 boys, August(11) and Sam(7), who also share a love of cars.

Bill Williamson
Bill has been a Manager for Carousel for 3 years focusing on VW and Mazda, and has 9 years experience in the auto industry. He is a lifelong resident of Iowa City and a graduate of Luther College in Decorah, IA. He and his wife Kirsten have a 9 month old son Lachlan.
Sanel Dzafic
Sanel(Sonny) has been with Carousel since 2006 and specializes in new/preowned sales and leasing. His love for German cars emerged when he was just a teenager. Sonny was born in Bosnia and as a young boy he moved to Germany where he lived for 5 years. After Germany, Sanel and his family moved to Des Moines, Iowa where he received his bachelors degree from Grand View College. In his spare time, Sonny enjoys playing and watching futball, or as we Americans call it, soccer.

Kevin Courtney
Kevin has been with Carousel Motors for 20+ years. Clients count on Kevin to assist with their VW, Mazda, Audi, and Mercedes-Benz needs. Kevin and his wife Theresa are both U of I grads. They live in Iowa City with their two children Alex and Hailey and their infamous Schipperke Eddie. Kevin is a lifelong Iowa Hawkeye fan.
Tom Akin
Tom has been selling Mercedes-Benz vehicles since 1988. During his years with Mercedes, he has owned and driven 240D, 190E, 300DT, 300D, SL380, C-230, E320S4, C3004 vehicles! In past years, Tom has been involved in drag racing on the national level (1970 top Stock National Champion), 1969 425/427 Kingswood Wagon (LEAD SLED), a feature winner at Tunis Raceway in Waterloo and involved with dirt stock car racing, currently still racing local Figure 8 races with his son. Tom enjoys golf, bowling and gourmet cooking in his free time.

Steve Tressel
Steve has been with Carousel for over 4 years and specializes in the sale of new/preowned Mercedes-Benz, Audi, VW, and Mazda products. Steve is a Cedar Rapids native and is a Linn-Mar grad. Steve went to Central College in Pella, IA. Cars are Steve's biggest hobby as well as spending time with family.

Patrick Quinn
Often confused with the active governor of Illinois, Patrick has been with carousel since 2008. Patrick specializes in the sales and leasing of new/preowned Audi, Mercedes-Benz, VW, and Mazda. Patrick has a wealth of knowledge on the products we sell, as well as BMW and Volvo product.

Allen Diercks
Allen has been with Carousel Motors since 1999 when he began as a Service Consultant. He has been Service Director since 2004. Allen grew up in the car business as his father owned a Ford Lincoln Mercury dealership in NW Iowa. Even as a small child, Allen could be found in the servce department hanging out with the technicians and learning the ropes. Allen has developed a passion for all automobiles and racing. He currently races Go-Karts competetively and has also raced stock cars and late models in the recent past. Allen is also the crew chief of the Carousel Racing Team which travels to Road America 3 times per year to race vintage cars. Allen is married to Dr. Amy Diercks and they have 3 children; Alena, Brady and Matthew.

Andy Diercks
Andy has been the Mazda and Mercedes-Benz service consultant since 2005. Yes, he is Allen's younger brother, so Andy grew up in the car business with their family in NW Iowa. This led to the inevitable passion for automobiles. Andy is also very active in youth bowling in Cedar Rapids. He is the head coach of the youth leagues at Cedar Rapids Bowling Center and is a board member of the Cedar Rapids Youth Association. In addition, Andy also co-coaches the Linn-Mar High School bowling team. When bowling is not in session, Andy can be found at the race track with Allen where he is the tire guru for the Diercks Racing team. Andy is married to Makala and they have 2 children, Alex and Mekena.
